Dr. Chris Chen is a local orthodontist who spent his childhood in the Hacienda Heights area of the San Gabriel Valley. After attending high school at the Don Bosco Technical Institute, Dr. Chen attended UCLA for college along with the likes of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love. While he did not find the same success in transitioning to the NBA after college, Dr. Chen became a professional dental student at the UCLA School of Dentistry.

After eight years of basking in the Los Angeles sun, Dr. Chen tested his endurance to withstand cold climate by moving to the Mile High City of Denver and training in the University of Colorado's orthodontics residency program. There, he treated complex patients requiring surgical orthodontics for jaw and facial correction and completed a research thesis studying “Differences in facial profile preferences between first- and second-generation Mexican-Americans.”

Upon finishing his residency in Colorado, Dr. Chen returned home to Southern California to be closer to friends, family, and the equator. Today, his office is located in Rowland Heights and proudly serves residents all over Southern California. His patient care philosophy emphasizes putting health first and allowing patients unique treatment options to achieve their dream smile. When not busy treating patients, Dr. Chen enjoys following the NFL and NBA and spending quality time at the beach with friends and his yellow labrador named Bruin.
